I was flipping through channels last night and American Wedding was on HBO.

Wow is this movie bad... bad flow, bad camera work, bad acting, bad story...

This was just terrible... the bachelor party could have been really funny with the mom/dad being there. But played like a bad Three's Company episode...


I actually enjoyed the first two American Pie movies... this was bad.

Why are they zoomed in so much on the actors faces, BAD!

I have bad memories of this, not only because the movie was shit, but because at that point I was trying to get back together with this girl... never happened though. I saw it in the theater with her and her two friends. The movie was fucking hilarious in parts though... except I think that had to do with the fact that I mixed a 64 oz. cup from am/pm with 50/50 Dr. Pepper and Captain Morgan. About halfway through the movie, I was laughing at everything. I took my friend and he did the same thing. That's the only enjoyable thing I remember. The movie was shit, the girl I wanted was/is a piece of shit. So yeah.

But I too hated American Wedding. It was more of the same, only less funny. You could really tell that Seann William Scott didn't want to be there at all. But he's the kiss of death for any movie, so there you go.

yeah I just found Stifler way too annoying in this one. IHe went from being the best part about the first two to the worst part about this one.

Had a girlfriend who insisted we go see the first American Pie back when it was in theaters.

Haven't been back to a theater since, and didn't see AP2 or AW. I figure it's better that way.

It had some hot chicks. IF thats not good enough reason to see a movie then I dont know what is.

But yeah it was pretty meh.

Saw 45 minutes or so of this last night too and thought it sucked also. Liked the first one, second one was lame (except for the lesbo scene.)

I liked all three of them personally, but loved the first one the most.

I didn't like how they took Stifler and put his character into overdrive. He went from an obnoxious, but a believable ass in the first one to just so over the top in the third one that I wouldn't understand why anyone would be able to stand him in the first place.

Granted, with less characters in the third one, I guess they had to give him more screen time, but it was just absurd how they wrote the character.

I enjoyed it somewhat. But then again we didn't pay to see it. My friends and I hopped in after seeing some other movie.

All in all, it was pretty bad, but..... IAWTP. Along with the follow up, "I told you that guy wanted to fuck me!" There were a few good moments.

Yeah. What the fuck was up with his facial expressions? It's like he sabottaged the character on purpose.
