So if your 12hr day puts you over the 40hr (mines 44hr) limit they won't pay overtime? That's against labour laws.

That's strange... I work at a smaller home decor store in a very large mall, which is also a huge tourist attraction -- and it was totally dead. By 1pm we had only done $99 in sales. Almost no one came in :lol

I think he's actually saying that they won't get scheduled for 40 hours because the owner is a cheap fuck who doesn't want to pay overtime(I've been in the same situation, just taking a guess on the cheap fuck part). So you could work three 12 hour days in a week, but that's all you'll work.

I get overtime if management gets go ahead from the DM, otherwise its up to 40. Only lately its been hard since they've been midshifting me at fulltime, meaning I cant get anything done!

I didnt specc, just went liberal arts. Im job hunting right now, but this past year I just spent my time trying to get stabilized.

Most people dont get jobs in the same field as their degree. I dont get the point of college aside from the street cred yo!
