Holy shi- it's that guy! Mindblowing actor stuff.

So I am watching 28 Days Later at work and I realise Naomie Harris (Moneypenny from the new bond films) is in it as Selena:

I Googled just to make sure then it showed me that she is also Calypso in POTC.....

I had no idea

How??

She has such a unique and distinctive look. Then again it was definitely her Calypso performance that put her on my radar for sure.

I love this thread, but sometimes it makes me think that people need their eyes checked. Is it that hard to recognize actors?

I knew Dan Aykroyd was in this scene, but didn't know all of Lucas Film was.

Holy shit. The hot daughter that was the only memorable part of the enema that is Pauly Shore's Son in Law was Carla Gugino.

Just finished up the demo for Bravely Second with this awesome troupe:

Except the voice for the main character (Yew) kept hitting me funny. Something about his voice, and even speech patterns kept making me want to smile.

It wasn't until just before the demo was close over when Yew was in a scary area and afraid of ghost that I started picturing some crazy huge body guard in my head. Of course, then I started thinking of Patrick Warburton. Except obvoiusly Yew's voice is not Patrick Warburton, but he must have been someone close.

Then it hit me:

So this might have been posted, but this guy:

(that is to say, actor Nathan Lane, not the actual F Lee Bailey)

is also famous for playing:

This isn't exactly late-breaking news, but I just realized that Richard Beymer, who played Ben Horne in Twin Peaks, played Tony in West Side Story 20 years earlier.

Alas, some other dude provided Tony's singing voice.

Watched A River Runs Through It the other day. Didn't realize Joseph Gordon-Levitt played Young Norman. I've seen the movie 30 times and never knew this.

I'm rewatching Deadwood (speaking of the awesome Brad Dourif) and just saw
Nick Offerman's semi-erect penis
in graphic detail.

Was not expecting that. Lots of recognizable actors showing up.

Another awesome actor in Deadwood is Garret Dillahunt. He actually plays two different characters in show.

Ving Rames of Pulp Fiction Fame

"omg, this actor was in two DIFFERENT movies!", more or less.

To me the point was always if two roles were so dissimilar or a role is so atypical you'd be hard pressed to recognize that it's the same actor was in both (I'm thinking gary oldman as Drexl, Tim curry as the devil in Legend, etc)

Has Kristen Stewart as Jodie Foster's son in Safe Room been mentioned? Because it really blew my mind when I found out.

So I just watched the Rock yesterday. Remember the pilot who almost vaporizes Nic Cage at the end?

It was Jim Caviezel

Better know for playing Jesus Christ in the Passion of the Christ and the main role in Person of Interest.
