You clearly don't realize how big this discovery was. GAF's been looking to hold a private tourney (for play money) for over a year now. There was one chance, but I guess GAF was too big of graphic whores to use an IRC bot

I don't play online poker nearly as much as I used to. To many damn people think they are gus hanson and are all in on shit like 2 7. It is getting harder and harder to find a game with out those type of jackasses. I would play for money online because I am sure people are a little more tight but I won't risk cash unless I can look at someone to get a read.

It takes awhile for it to get going; the game doesn't start until all the slots are full. For *scheduled* poker games, it's alright. For just playing with people, it seems Pacific Poker is still the way to go; in which pretty much every night the irc channel becomes the poker channel while people play using that program (which is way nicer, IMO) instead.

But for actual larger group matchings, poker.com is easier to get things going.
