Abby doesn't look like a man she looks big and strong as a counterpoint to Ellie being small and thin. Everything in the game has like 7 layers of meaning. It was a once in a lifetime game. The greatest ever made.

Anyway, it doesn't look like new CGI but more like close to early last gen CGI for games, not movies. For example it looks much better than the new RE series on Netflix that literally looks to gens behind.

Genuinely good take from Jaffe. Tried to say the same thing in the other thread and the mods banned me because I was too 'emotionally invested,' even though I've gone way harder on folks here in other threads, but in that specific thread, it's an issue. I've double-checked, and I didn't even sling any insults or profanities at anyone; it seems my only crime was opposing the general consensus of the thread, which is that the developers suck for making Aloy 'fat' and that there's some Western crusade against beauty and femininity. Next time I confront such bullshit, I'll remember to phrase myself as indifferent and stoic as possible - maybe that time they'll give me a more obvious reason as to why I was banned there, lol. God, I hope this site doesn't become like ERA.

Looks quite a bit like her actually. You can tell they aren't actually going to 1:1 representation though. All of the characters in the world are stylized. If they had just wanted to scan her face and put it in the game they could have done that easily.

There are literally no fat characters in The Last of Us. Ellie, Joel, Tommy, Dina, Jesse, Abby, Owen, Lev, etc.. maybe Isaac looks a bit fat but hes old.
As for Abby, she goes from normal girl to jacked up killer to beat as fuck tortured slave.. thats the point of her character arc.
There are reasons for how she looks (and she's still never fat.)

No way. That dress or skirt is definitely some large leaves put together. Looks like 3 to 4 large leaves somehow sewn together to make a dress. The chest armor might be some type of wood and bamboo mixture but the outfit underneath is definitely not. After rewatching it the stomach section I feel doesn't match the skirt section. I need to see her without the vest to better understand the outfit but that would never happen because boobs.

I loved the first one with its varied combat and cool lore if you wanted to dive in. Even in this trailer they were just shooting off arrows when my mind was screaming where are the traps and elemental effects.
It took like 80 hours to do everything and the expansion was great content for high level end game players.

For some reason her outfit just irks me. They are trying to create this semirealistic world so I keep trying to make sense of the design and how aloy would actually feel about wearing the outfit in everyday life.. A developer making a half naked woman is because they wanted a sexy half naked woman to draw in the guys and the females to prey on those guys with cosplay outfits. So I don't expect the outfits to make much sense. If your going to have a sexy character then make her sexy in style, action, and character. Pretty much Bayonetta and Neir.

Stripper level doesn't mean anything these days. Just think about it, pole dancing is now considered an exercise and if you can wear it to the pool/beach in public without getting arrested for it then it should be considered pg or E rated.
