HEY now...

Alba is actually pretty intelligent. But I'll agree that she didn't seem terribly bright in the interview. I think it's just that Letterman kept on being a creepy old man and hitting on her and looking at the GQ magazine. She kind of has a "revert to quiet kinda-ditsy girl" defense mechanism in situations like that.

Jessica is always fun to watch on Conan, and she's much more comfortable. The last interview they did (for Sin City) was hilarious.

I just went and saw House of Wax with my girlfriend. I didn't think it was half bad, and she really like it. She was scared almost the entire movie. My hand hurt from her squeezing it so long. In the beginning, the movie tries too hard to make Chad Michael Murray a badass, but other than that, I found the movie entertainment enough. If you've got a girlfriend, and you like "scary" movies, going to see House of Wax isn't such a bad idea.

She's been on Letterman a couple times in recent weeks.
If anything, she looked pretty good. Dave was really working his charm on her. And, while she was dumb, she came across as a very entertaining and almost business-savy person, imo.

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes did a radio show in LA last Saturday night. On the View Askew forums (Kevin's site) we were going to call in and ask Mewes if he checked into the Paris Hilton while filming a movie with her, but the screener wouldn't have it. :lol

I'm a Paris Hilton fan forever after she showed up a fan's birthday party, randomnly, by surprise, while filming House of Wax in Australia. The cyncial amongst you might think it was a PR stunt for the cameras, but I think she was genuine, and that was pretty awesome of her. She brought some pretty expensive gifts too.

Paris does have a tiny strip scene in it, but it's nothing really special. Elisha Cuthbert is much hotter, and is pretty much the main character, while Paris just plays a "friend". And we all know what happens to friends in horror movies...
