How’s xcloud these days?

Wondering if the network has been improved? I'm thinking of getting a fire stick to play gamepass games not available on GFN. Is it worth grabbing one these days for xcloud?

I played a lot of Warhammer 40k Darktide over the holidays.
It's not playable on the Xbox One S at my parents' home (50 Mbit DSL) , so I chose xCloud. It's a fast game, and I was in awe how well it played.
Two years ago I tried Forza Horizon and wasn't very pleased, so they definitely improved the service a lot in the past two years. That's all I can say for now. I would need to try FH5 in order to judge the present state for racing games, but I haven't done that since then.

Being honest it's a no unless you have really low standards. I don't care about graphics but input delay, pixelation and vaseline level IQ are a no go.

I'd rather just play something like Genshin on my phone if I was away from my other devices.

Depends on the game genre. Anything that needs really precise input and timing you'll just end up getting frustrated. It's passable for other types of games.

The worst part of any streaming service is it will depend on how far you are from the server. If you're a few miles away, the delay will be small enough not to bother most people. If you're in a fly-over state and your packets have to travel hundreds of miles round trip, it's going to feel like shit.

Basically stuff not on GFN. That would be my motivation to get this. So to play ninja gaiden 2 black, madden, cocoon, evil within just to name a few.
