How come the UFC games are imprisoned on consoles instead of living free on PC?

This would be a perfect game to boot up on Steam once in a while to kick some ass.

This would sell well too, the UFC games are good casual bait because of the KO madness and online play.

Why? is there any reason why this franchise is still stuck in 2005?

It's the same with NHL. What gives?

Because EA is incompetent. Adding two new franchises on PC would break their development team

They can hardly get EA FC to run properly on PCs, and every new entry in the series is riddled with issues.

What's worse, bugs that have persisted since EA FC 24, released in September 2023, are still present in the current version

Could be EA's license agreement with UFC was made earlier and they didn't include PC then, so even if they wanted to add it now, they couldn't simply do it without renegotiating.

PC market share for sports games is less than it is on consoles (i.e., casuals who play sports games aren't on PC).

Modding on PC could make EA look bad by adding new fighters/updating rosters, making their next main entry less enticing.

Need to also release the first Alice game serving a lifetime sentence in XB360 imprisonment.

The EA judge gavel falls, and some games are doomed.
It was released on the PC. The updated versions of it was released with the Deluxe edition of Madness Returns and available through EA. Then they removed the ability to buy it for some stupid reason.

It's very easy to get and launch through Madness Returns if you want to play it.

Just Buy a PS5™

Realistically, the audience for these games is on console. EA didn't even start porting Madden and FIFA to PC until very recently and the PC versions are filled with bugs and issues to the point where it's better to just play those on consoles
