Question when you play local multiplayer with friends and family do you usually play on PC or Consoles?

both, in switch usually MH rise or MK8
in pc we do play old games, such as star wars battlefront 2 2005 or cs source, it's like old time fun in my studio.

When I did a cottage weekend with my wife and friends I brought my gaming laptop up and did some 4 player shredders revenge and did a street fighter and Tetris tournament it was good times.

PC ofcourse. Sony and Nintendo consoles are for single player physical releases.

I only play games on a console if it's the only place I can play them.

I only play multiplayer games at all with my son. It's usually Fortnite with us in two different rooms on our PCs. Sometimes we'll play fighting games or co-op stuff in the same room, but that's somewhat rare.
