I'm using v. 1.0.6.
It seems that every couple of weeks my bookmarks are gone. I lost track of some cool sites due to this damn browser.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix?

Perhaps it has something to do with the different profiles you can make in FF.

I dunno.
I never created a profile in Firefox before. Maybe that's the problem.

This has happened to me before in FireFox, for some reason when I tried to sign on one day it asked me to open in default user profile or to create one. When I tried to open the default user profile it said it was already running, I had to create a new profile thereby deleting all of my bookmarks.
But yesterday when I clicked on to firefox it asked me to pick a profile and I chose the first default one I had and got all my bookmarks back. But I couldn't figure out myself how to switch profiles.

Your browser crashed, didn't it? Make sure to go to the task manager and end Firefox in the processes tab.

Yeah, the issue is caused by trying to open a new instance of FF after a crash while the original process is still running.
