Alright so my buddy is in Rome, studying for the summer, and I just came across some money (more than enough for the airfare) so I think I might go there and see him. I'm just wondering from people that may live there, and who have traveled, how much is it like day to day for food and what not.
I'm trying to get a budget together so I can figure out if I will in fact be able to go. My friend says how he goes to some pizza place near by his apartment, and spends like 2 euros on food for lunch, which wouldnt be so bad.
The other stuff I've looked at (eiffell tower, eurostar to london from paris, london ->rome airfare) I can get the ballpark figures for, but what about like local train service, the not so expensive ones. ANy links I should know about?
