So do you not expect it to break the launch year record? I noticed you didn't vote in the poll. Obviously you must have an actual considered opinion on this topic, because the only other alternative is that you're actively trolling, which I'm pretty sure is against the rules here.

Switch² is killing it, like violently, we're talking real slaughter with gruesome dismemberment, pools of blood and broken families.
Nintendo must be happy with the results so far.

On the other hand here's an accurate depiction of anyone thinking the Steam Deck is a console:

Valve itself advertises the Deck as a "console like experience" and from a purely gaming oriented standpoint it's closer to feeling like a console then a pc.

I agree that the lines are getting blurry when it comes to console-like experiences. More and more devices move towards a big-screen, plug'n play, user friendly gaming experience. But until they do something stupid like lock it down and/or make games exlusive to only the steam deck, it's factual a handheld PC.

No one gives two hoots about the imaginary corporate friends anyone think they may have except for people like above. No matter what company. The real relationship with them is strictly transactional. They provide products and services to consume. And the actual bond is between the communities within their passion of lived moments in those experiences hence places like NeoGAF exist. What most don't understand is the difference of those opinions if there are dislikes for the company not essentially their products.

I didn't liked how Sony ask you to pay extra in order to play physical copy on PS5 Pro, so I chose not buy it, end of story....if sells well or not no longer my concern.

I skipped consoles because of backwards compatibility issues, paying for live services and bad discounts seeing how on PC you can run emulators and keep your games no matter what . I've been PC since 2017, knowing I'll never lose my games.

What we really need to know is the number of consoles sold / millisecond in order to really assess Nintendo supremacy.
No other indicator can be valid.
