I think it is actually entertaining. Not the best gameplay but it is pretty humorous. I wouldnt buy it but it makes a decent rental. You got it easy with it being free though. Play it if for nothing else but some of the great video game parodies.

Everyone that owns the game seems to like the gameplay, but get annoyed by the presentation. It's easier than previous Amped games and lacks on-line play.

Yea the bundle was PDZ, PGR3, Condemned and Amped.

I also picked up CoD2 and Kameo with a play and charge kit today.

I was expecting a terrible game, but in fact it's not that bad. It really feels rushed, but if you can get into the humor it's really funny and the gameplay is ok.

If I had to choose between the plague or an hour of Amped 3, I'd probably go with the plague.

Stupid presentation, ridiculously forgiving gameplay, crap graphics, annoying characters, bad art, bad breath, and general stupidity ruined the game.

I actually like it very much. Even more than Amped 2 which I found to be a bit to hard to master. It lacks the very fun online mode from the previous game, but the online leaderboards are lots of fun too. I even made it to #1 worldwide in two contests!

The presentation is awesome too. I love the way they combined the story elements using so many different styles. It adds a lot to the game.

If you search through the GAF archives, you'll see this topic discussed many times. It's a polarizing game. In every thread, Jeff-DSA says he hates it. In every thread, I say I really like it.

There was a video clip capturing the first 10 minutes of the game somewhere. You should watch that to get a sense of whether it'll be a hit or miss for you. It's a snowboarding RPG.
