OH ice man level, how i hate you.
And if you use that cheap ass golem lighting pause trick, you deserve to DIE.
Fortunately, the no password thing is no longer an issue with Mega Man Anniversary Collection. The game saves your progress--and not in the hacky way Sega did it in Sonic Mega Collection Plus and Sonic Gems Collection.Zeo said:Mega Man 1 was probably my least favorite out of the NES games. It has some issues like collision detection and no passwords that bug the crap out of me.
You know, I don't know why people complained about this boss. He was really easy once you saw the pattern. I remember that I could beat this boss with my eyes closed back when I was a kid. Can't do that now, but I can kick his ass without getting touched.Ferrio said:Seeing how it's the 2nd best Megaman, ya i'd say so.

Because it's fucking hard.
OpinionatedCyborg said:Quickman's level, for example, has a lot of one hit deaths. It's practically impossible to blow through it on your second, third, or fourth try. But by the fifth time you've tried it, the sequence those one-hit kill bars of light follow is easily remembered and negotiated as such.

In wich order do you guys go through the levels?
Where do you always die? The teleporting pieces guy?
That's Mega Man 2.

edit: Oh, and I tend to die once or twice while going through the Gauntlet trying to reach Wily
PuertoRicanJuice said:I just got the Megaman Anniversary Collection. The only Megaman I played prior to it was MM3. I had it on NES when I was little. I beat MM1, and I'm almost done with 2. I don't know how anyone could say that Megaman 1 wasn't that hard. The part where you have to fight all the bosses again (well 4 of them) without powerups in between made me fucking cry. And the very last boss was a pain in the ass too. Wysdom, you a god if you are able to beat the game without losing a life.
And the Flashman stage in MM2 is ridiculous.
I haven't got up to MM3 yet, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it the most because of the nostalgia.
