Hey GAF, just curious how much you folks were paying for Car Insurance when you were younger!
I'm currently 19, and am going to finally purchase my own car after driving a hand-me down from my parents for two years. The car I'm going to purchase is a 2007 BMW 335I, and I decided to get Auto Insurance by myself, and I'm dying everytime I see my quoted policies.
$678 a month from Farmers
$661 a month from All State
$580 a month from Progressive
I'm crying. After the $200 monthly car payments, a car alone will eat away about $800-$900 away from my wallet a month.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this about average for a 19 year old single Male? Any advice on how to not hate myself everytime I pay my Insurance?
