BTW if anyone wants a sweet wallpaper for their dual monitors (or single monitor, I'm not judging >_> <_<) someone on reddit combined the OST cover art with the upcoming unreleased tracks cover art.
City Ruins is playing in my head right now...

Ending C down. Did I mention that I barely know what's going on?
If humanity is dead, why did anyone bother to give the androids something to do with Yorha? Why not just let them be / die? Who put the big white tower there, again? The robots? Was A2 introduced in A-B (months ago IRL for me) because I don't remember her besides what she did in this ending?
Just finished route c and i've gotta say the soundtrack of the game is one of the most amazing things i've experienced along with the gripping story.I'm gonna remember characters and the story that was told.
Finished e just now damn that was an emotional last fight. They really went all the way with this game. You did do d and e right?
Is the game finally acceptable on PC?
Kinda want to give it a shot before Destiny 2 hits

Did you get ending E?I'm done. It wasn't great.
I did like going back and selling all my stuff and buying 20 trophies to get the platinum though.
actually its not that long, as it gets progressively shorter with each main ending you get.OléGunner;250058487 said:I'm still on route A at like 19 hours in. I'm guessing since this goes up to route E it's a seriously long game but I don't mind, it's something I'm in the mood for right now.
Just took out theThe genre blending, although I knew to expect it, is still kinda blowing my mind.sea machine boss, man that was a cool fight.

I 100% completed the game in 55 hours
Thought I'd ask this question here as well: Is Nier worth it at 45 if I'm buying it based on the critical reception of the story? I'm kind of apprehensive about the gameplay, seeing as how I'm usually not a fan of games like DMC etc, which this seems kind of akin to.

The answer is obviously somewhat subjective, but to weight in on the matter... yes, most definitely.Thought I'd ask this question here as well: Is Nier worth it at 45 if I'm buying it based on the critical reception of the story? I guess the story is somewhat interesting, but the way it's presented is so frustrating it would probably be a better experience to just read a summary.
I mean, if you just do the main quest it won't take long, especially considering how powerful 9S is, between the hacking and the spear-throwing.I might push through and keep going still, despite my disappointment with the game's length. Man, route B could have been so much shorter.

Then it's all new stuff from now on, enjoy it while it lasts!I finished route B. On C now

Very worth it. This game's story is excellent, and is its main draw. I think the story that this game tells is very unique, and is the reason why so many people like this game.Thought I'd ask this question here as well: Is Nier worth it at €45 if I'm buying it based on the critical reception of the story? I like how my impressions with 9S' combat ability changed so drastically throughout the game.I mean, if you just do the main quest it won't take long, especially considering how powerful 9S is, between the hacking and the spear-throwing.
And I just did B at 58, lol.actually its not that long, as it gets progressively shorter with each main ending you get.

So I just finished original Nier this morning and went directly to Automata, and holy crap. The gameplay difference is insane and very welcome. Thank you based Platinum. The only thing I disliked about the first one was how clunky the melee combat was. Anyway is the DLC worth a purchase?
Is there anything specific to what's going on with Popola and Devola's history, or is it just one giant reference to Nier 1?
It's the best kind of fanservice, yes.
There better be a sidequest where they both get plastered again.
Whew. Ending E done.
Elaborate Gadgets though...0/5 for Pod C. 92% done side quests, can't get any more from them. Why did they make it so hard to farm these things?!?!
