I am writing a work for class about how videogames are seen by society trough media. So I am searching for pieces from magazines, newspapers, online newspaper or whatever other general media.

I am looking forward any type of media, links or scans you can post. I am looking specially for pieces of press commenting about violence on videogames and all that things. If someone have old pieces speaking about how videogames makes you epileptic, financial news, it would be great.

In the way, maybe it could be a nice thread.

Thank you very much in case you can help me, or at least for wasting 5 secs of your life reading this :)

Someone needs to make a game called videomage. It'll about this mage that only has the power to conjeur up a tv a vcr and any video ever made. watch him fight crime with nudist adventures VIII

I don't have any specific links but I know that Newsweek regularly has stories on the gaming industry, not every week or anything but about 7-8 a year.

The New York Times does articles on videogames and videogame culture regularly. Check the Circuits section (Wednesdays is the usual street date for that, I think).

If you are specifically interested in videogame violence, the place to start is by researching the case IDSA v. St. Louis County. Just Google the case and you'll get a whole lot of hits.
