Did anyone hear his comments he made about his team?

Man!! who does this guy think he is? He is going to get beaten down by some dirty vetreans if he doesn't keep his mouth shut.

Not only did he make stupid comments about his team, but he leveled a defender during a non contract drill and then justified it with "I only play at one speed, 100%"

To top it off, he's requesting to play defensive end in practices.

I'm sure he'd be great at the position.

They should put him in a ring with Lesnar and see how it goes.

As a Browns fan I have to comment.

He got knocked on his ass Saturday night. The video shows it. It wasn't pretty. He made one catch, and also punched a Titan in the head. For this, Butch Davis pats him on the head upon leaving the game. Or maybe it was a punch. I couldn't tell.

BUT the Browns need a leader. Badly. Jeff Garcia has helped by calling and encouraging both Northcutt and Winslow to join the team. But he's never called them out, and these guys need calling out. It's funny because he's only been on the roster for a week, but damnit, someone needed to do it.

Canes are premadonnas. But dammit, they're fucking good. Winslow got owned in that gif. Man, I didn't see that game, but that's getting put on your ass. Oh well, hopefully it's the rookie thing. Funny how Shockey's rookie debut consisted of him trampling other people, but Winslow's results in getting owned. Pretty embarassing. But he's more talented than Shockey, so he'll come around eventually. PEACE.

Not just for TE's but also for every player on the football team there.

No way dude. Andre Johnson seems as mild mannered as they come. At least, in the year and a half he's been in Houston, there haven't been any "Immafugginsouldja" outburtsts from him, actually, there hasn't been much negative press of ANY Texans except Marcus Coleman's DWI this summer. And I believe Marcus Coleman (again) as well as Antowain Peek missing a team meeting during the trip to Buffalo. They were suspended for the Bills game. Marcus Coleman was one of our best defensive players last year too.

There are always some good guys coming from Miami but many of them happen to be absolute animals and cause alot of trouble on and off the field, one of the more mild mannered guys is Willis Mcgahee, hes really been a very quiet man here in Buffalo. One thing that stems out about him is his determination to rebound from the knee injury. The one noticable thing about Miami is that alot of their players commit some crime before and while they are in college. Thats what I was shooting for, but as you pointed out there is always a diamond in the rough.

McGahee also seems like a class act. Although, many of the other guys (Winslow/Portis/Shockey just to name a few) have had outbursts of one type or another (some not as bad, like Portis wearing the WCW belt...XD lmao)

That belt thing was hilarious...but still it was typical Miami.

There's also that tiny little note of Portis demanding a trade because his team refused to make him the highest paid running back in league history.

I was kinda hoping that Portis would show up at the first Redskins press conference with the WCW belt, Ric Flair style.

Sean Taylor seems pretty grounded. I bet it's the Joe Gibbs influence. Every team should have a Joe Gibb's to control the primadonnas.

Joe Gibbs won't take any bunk!

I think it says a lot about Taylor's character (as opposed to Winslow Jr.'s) that Gibbs chose a safety over a TE, given Gibbs' past reliance on a catching TE and the Skins' weak roster at that position. Of course, strengthening the defensive backfield makes plenty of sense in terms of being able to ship Bailey off for Portis.

For every college reputation, there are always exceptions. But let's be honest, at Miami, they don't give a shit about grades and education. It's play ball and go.

Kellen Winslow II is pissing off teammates, just like Shockey did when he first went to camp, but Fassel embraced it since he thought it would fire up the team. Don't know if Butch Davis can control the team that way...

I can't wait until Winslow tries coming across the middle on the Steelers 3-4 D this year. Our secondary may suck, but Porter, Bell, and Farrior will knock him flat on his ass if he doesn't watch out.

One of Miami's top recruits from last year.........Willie Williams and his recruiting trip to jail(Miami's only real competition)!

When Carroll County Jail came to pick me up, I knew it was special. They sent a whole private van just for me! I knew I must have been important to them because I was the only recruit in the van. That was tight. They made a big deal out of trying to impress me by blaring the sirens and giving me my own armed escort. I felt important.

When I arrived at the jail, the warden told me that I could expect to start right away for the prison team. They have lost all of their starting linebackers to parole so the early playing time sounded good to me. The warden took me into a room. They already had a uniform set out just for me! I asked the warden if I could keep my highschool number but he said, "look at your uniform Willie, it's already got a number on it, we copied it from your first arrest". I guess they saved #986347 for me! Anyway, I put on the uniform and the warden told me "It's you, Willie." From there I got to run out into the cell block with my uniform on. I took I got a tour of the weight room and it was the best. It is the only weight room I have ever seen where it is outside in the "yard". Man, they have a great weight training program and some of those big dudes must work out six hours a day.

I told the warden I was hungry and he took me to the restuarant to eat. It was the only place I have visited that has a restaurant right there. I asked for 5 lobster tails and 2 steaks. They told me they were out of both so I had 6 sloppy joes. To be honest, the food wasn't up to my usual standards. Fortunately, one of the playas hosting me offered to toss me a salad later that night. That was tight.

After dinner I was looking to party. I asked some of the playas "where the women at?" they just looked at me and smiled.

I met with a counselor to talk about classes. I couldn't decide whether to study liscense plate manufacturing or internet dating.

I didn't like the fact that I had to spend the evening behind bars. I ain't no parakeet!

Double damn that is one sweet avatar Zooted.

Yes, I remember during Jr's recruiting. He finally chose the University of Washington, and his father came out and said "No, there aren't enough black people there". He always sounds fairly intellectual in interviews though.

That Willie Williams kid has 12 felony arrests already! Good pick up!

One thing about Miami is the players don't fuck around, alot of players who the Bills recruit they always tak about having a, "great motor." While it is very valuable to have someone give back to the community one thing every team has is someone who would kill, steal, and cheat to win much like alot of the Miami players. Another player who was his shit together from Miami is Dan Morgan, while he is a total beast on the field he doesnt create problems for his team and plays good defense for the Panthers.

Heh, I forgot about that kid. I just shook my head thinking they're at it again. He fits the school very well though if I do say so myself.

Good point, I forgot Morgan even went to Miami. He's been a great player when healthy for the Panthers and has kept his nose spotless off the field. He's one healthy season from being a Pro-Bowler, hopefully this year.

He definately proved he was great with those 25 tackles in the Super Bowl. I'm surprised to learn he went to Miami; doesn't act like an ass at all.
