I was about to demand a refund of my $1.99 from GameStop. I wonder though, why Nintendo made it so difficult to look at the mem.card files?

N64 memory card can be accessed in most games that saved to memory card.

Hold start when you boot them up (in the case of Perfect Dark, I think you have to hol "R" instead), and you'll get the memory card manager.

Check the games instructions, they explain how to access the memory card if the game is compatible with it.
