VCDs are just mpegs.

i know, but they have all this weird files in the vcd. I want to make an mpeg of it so that I can put a bunch of them in dvd.

and taking out the *.dat alone doesnt work. Somehow it needs all the other files to function, so I need something to convert it into single movie file.

the biggest file... that is the movie. It might be a .dat file. Just rename it.

Are you sure it is a VCD and not an SVCD?

hmmm.... i dont know, could be svcd... what difference would it make?

how do i check if its vcd or svcd?
