I just did clean format and got fresh XP setup going. For first time though when hit enter after talking in aim, or certain message boxs from websites(confirmations) I get annoying internal beeping sounds. How do you turn that off?
Hmmm, I don't know why you'd be getting those beeps on the internal speaker unless something is really messed up with your sound card driver installation. However, you don't want to completely disable the internal PC speaker, because if anything goes wrong with your mobo the beep codes at boot-up will save your hide in trying to diagnose what's wrong.
I got them when new email came which woke me up too much but luckly I could turn that off in options. Just looking for samething for aim and webpage stuff.
