Tales of Zestiria is decent.
Great characters, decent story, fun battlesystem.
The equipment-skill skystem is baaaaad though (but ymmv).

It's far from being as terrible as some claim, but you could also watch the superior anime adaption instead
They fixed a lot of problems with the story and flow of the game and I'd go as far as to say that it's it's a very good fantasy anime in general.
Also is mostly really good looking with some sick action.

How so? It's exactly the same price on Steam and you get exactly the same preorder bonuses. I don´t see any benefit of buying the game in this bundle.

Though I fully I agree that the game itself looks amazing.

Maybe, though I find that Symphonia still holds up to its nostalgia a lot better than other games, even if Vesperia basically does a lot of the same things but better.

I certainly don't mean to imply that Symphonia is bad and is only propped up by nostalgia, only that opinions on Symphonia might be more favorable than fully deserved. Given that I haven't played Symphonia in an awful long time I couldn't really tell you to what degree it has or hasn't aged but I certainly know that at least some of the later Tales releases are better than it.

Later releases should be better than Symphonia afterall successors are supposed to improve the formula and Symphonia combat was very basic since it was the first 3D game in the series. The main issue following the series is that the dungeon design got progressively worse and the Overworld moved to a somewhat open world-ish design that was a lot of empty space with some treasures, ingridients and some special encounters that didnt really do anything to fill up the empty space and make it interesting. That comes also with the lack of interactions when out of combat since its pretty much old school on the way of walk around until you get into a fight and you dont have much climbing, jumping, swimming and other mechanics that should make the overworld feel worth exploring. Also they thankfully went small with Berseria's OW (Still has the empty issues but not as bad as Zestiria) and are showing hints of learning from some of the issues from previous games in a few ways from narrative to gameplay elements.

Awful / not worth the time it takes to play even if it was free.

Never played Zesteria, but seeing some people love Symphonia (most fans will tell you it's better than Phantasia, which is like saying the CDi Zelda games are better than LTTP), I know I can't trust fans of the series with opinions on the game. Will probably pass though, too many new games, will wait for a better price on it.!

Ensalved is good port, in that it runs fine without any issues.
However the textures really show how outdated they are.
Recommend playing on Easy as the combat isn't all that grand.

So it runs better than PS3 version? I bought it on PS3 and liked it but quit due to the games performance.
