I’ve got an idea for a movie.

Horror called the unloved
Aborted babies come back from the dead and kill the mothers that aborted them by hugging them.
Basically this

Pinky and the Brain live action movie (with cg mice, obviously).

I only know what the trailer would be like: an elderly, hippie-type guy from a big record label is sitting in his office, listening to some tunes and saying that this is some awesome shit and that this could be superstar material. Then he looks up and says to someone out of focus how the artist is lacking one thing, an identity, and that he should ask himself who he really is.
Cut to Brain, his tiny head sticking out of the ridiculously oversized smoking-wearing robot body of his, and replying: "To be quite honest, I am actually a genetically modified lab mouse trying to take over the world."
Old hippie (thinking for a moment) : "Groovy, baby."
Cue theme song to assorted movie scenes montage.

There you have it. Guaranteed box office hit.

A Phineas & Ferb live-action movie. Dufenshmirch creates a “live-action” inator that transports all the main characters to our universe ala Homer Simpson, except something goes horribly wrong when they see that they kept their original body shape and proportions.

It’s horror movie.

The main character goes through a series of events, each of them taking him closer to, or farther away from his Goal, the usual.

A live-action Witch Hunter Robin anime adaptation. I think it'd be so cool to see with the trenchcoats, the Orbo necklaces, and the guns with the Orbo bullets exploding. Speaking of which, that anime was vastly underrated. If I ever hit it big, I'm financing a second season of that show to be made.

I'd probably make a movie showing an alternate reality in which Allied countries fought alongside the Germans to rid the world of Bolshevik commies forever, and in the movie, all the Allied countries would be ten times more prosperous and peaceful than they are right now.

I'd title it: The Triggering. Then I would market it directly to wacky SJW types, LOL.

Sounds like the Pilot for Homecoming season 3, or another season of Man in the High Tower.

It could work.

I'd like to see a movie about the life of a quirky tardigrade, coming to terms with the fact that there are bigger things at play other than the things immediately in front of him and his day to day eating plant cells and stuff.

And it goes like this.....

Post your great movie ideas that should be made.

I've mentioned this in a couple other threads, but I wrote an exhaustive prequel to the 1979 movie Alien. I never pitched the idea (although I do have publishing rights) due to the fact that the story is centered around the characters personal/professional history prior to working on the Nostromo. The story works up to there originally being a female Android that Weyland-Yutani employed to monitor the crew unlike Ash who was programmed to monitor Mu-Th-er. Midway through the story the crew learns how difficult it is to transport the ore from Thedus to the Nostromo's refinery and there is one casualty. The story ends with the crew being unaware that they have already picked up a "distress warning beacon" from LV-426 and their hypersleep will be I interrupted prior to returning to Earth. I scrapped the final draft of this novel/movie idea due to the fact that no one wants to see an Alien movie without the Alien. It would be hard to market and I felt that having the story to myself prevents it from ever getting a bad rep or review.
