I wish stores sold it year-round. I just want some eggnog, man.
Speaking of which, I wish Cinnamon Coke was still in stores. Hope that's coming back in the winter. I only have enough to last maybe another month.

if you make eggnog with the "cooked" egg method then we cant be friends

egg nog is all about that raw egg texture, i fucken love that shit homes

ill put beer in there, rum, any other alcoholics i have to spare, dirty it up good until it puts nail polish remover to shame

edit: also add heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk to lighten color

throw some everclear in there too

then sweeten it up real good with whatever sweetness is laying around, apple cider is nice, some sugar too, maybe some sweet white wine some ice

the end result punches you square ln the nose but its pleasant because of the sweetness

fuck yeah bitch shake dat ass up good

pour into a goblet

sweet homemade whipped cream over the top

dust with a light dusting of fresh grated cinnamon and nutmeg

spices straight into the drink will make it grainy, so over the whipped cream so you get a good hit on the nose

light up a cigar and watch die hard

thats merry christmas

I have a borderline obsession with a certain brand of eggnog. Lucerne Eggnog up here in Canada. I swear I gain some 10 lbs each Christmas season off of that stuff alone. The texture and thickness of the drink, with the flavour... I have a glass and by the end, I have one more!

It's only this brand, though. I've had other kinds and found them too sweet or too thin in texture.

It usually goes on sale here around October until January. One of the things I look forward to each year.

Not a huge fan of eggnog but I am a fan of fall weather, especially as we head toward air conditioning season. I had a brief scare that mine went out right before this hot weekend but it turned out to be a bad 220v circuit breaker, easy enough fix.

Anyway I kill the bottle she gives me almost immediately and eagerly anticipate the next year’s. Making eggnog isn't that hard if you want it now. And it goes great with a glug of brandy in there, but that's just a suggestion. It's not mandatory... yet.
