I did shrooms for the first time

Nah, shrooms are.

They're completely natural, they last the perfect amount of time (3-4 hours), they don't give you any trouble sleeping afterwards nor do you feel like shit the next day, and best of all, if you pick them yourself they cost nothing to eat and you get the fun of finding them out in the wild.

Them being natural is irrelevant.

I don't feel like shit after taking LSD.

And fuck trying to find mushrooms growing in the wild. I would rather pay for them.

Take some more next time if you're up for it. (Stay safe though, in a nice spot with good friends).
Things haven't even started to get weird yet.

I think the most memorable drug experience i ever had was on shrooms. It probably changed the way i think about certain stuff.

The bolded part is just not a good argument. Lots of stuff is completely natural, doesn't make it better in any way.
Also, LSD is found in nature, too.
The synthesized version is not different.

Yeah, but chances are you don't know what exactly you're getting with a hit of acid. You don't know where it came from, who made it, how potent the tabs are etc. Shrooms on the other hand, are a known entity provided you've done your research.

You don't have trouble sleeping after acid? You don't feel slightly depressed the following day? I do.

And finding shrooms yourself is half the fun.

I sometimes feel a little down the next day but I largely attribute that to being so mentally tired. I feel very positive in the days and weeks that follow.

Every time I do hallucinogens I end up thinking I'm in a VR simulation, find the true meaning of life and then peeing myself

So I think I'm done doing them

Shrooms are definitely my favorite, as long as you take them on an empty stomach and make tea out of it they usually don't make me feel sick. Plus, the comedown is very gentle.

It's always been a very positive experience and I never felt like I was teetering on the edge of a bad trip (unlike with, say, acid). I also think music sounds better on shrooms than on LSD.

They're also pretty easy to grow yourself, if you don't or can't go hiking through the woods looking for them.

An eighth (3.5 grams) is a good dose. An actual trip but not too intense.
I feel like it's always better to go for lower doses when you're starting out. I've done high dose shroom trips many times but had an 8th I bought off a woman dressed as a fairy at Eeyore's birthday in Austin this year and it was the hardest I'd ever tripped on them. Couldn't move, everything was fractals and I felt like a baby discovering the world for 5 hours lol.

Although of course location is everything and there were hundreds if not thousands of people all around me and I was already high as shit.

My first time I took way too many. We were in my mates room and he had lots of crazy posters and dragon models and shit. Everything went batshit insane. It was pretty intense. Took them in Thailand later on and it was really chill. I don't mess with any of that anymore though, I did enough of it all back in the day.

Youtube search: Ocarina of Time Shadow Temple theme.

Turn volume up.

Enjoy your existential crisis.

please don't do this

I've only done psychedelics while hiking or at concerts and festivals. One of these days I should try just sitting back in my room and listening to music. I always get too excited by everything that's happening tho and want to wander about and explore.

Seeing Radiohead at ACL on acid was a fun experience, incredible light and visual presentation even if you were sober.

DMT in a graveyard was pretty grand lol.

Psychedelics with 2010s internet and a good screen/sound system is a game changer (i.e. Spotify + YouTube). Being able to pull up whatever visuals/sound on a whim is amazing while on a trip.

I felt this strongly because the previous time I had done mushrooms (early 2000s), that didn't exist.

My experience, too. It was like getting drunk, but better.
I enjoyed it. Given that I do Ayahuasca from time to time and that's a fucking savage weird scary intense experience even when you know what is coming, I appreciate the mellow "low dosage shroom" feelings.

I super really want to try lsd, but what people said on this thread keep me at bay, I.e., you can't be sure of what you are taking, if it really is lsd, how it was made, and so on.

There are pretty good indicators of whether it really is LSD. Taste of the tab, size, whether it works if you swallow it, etc.

Also the dosage for LSD is so low that the odds of it being something else are very small, and even if it was something else, a little 1x1 cm piece of paper dipped in any other drug won't do shit to you.

Far more common is that it's nothing at all, just undipped paper. Bunk.

I also don't like the "you don't know how strong it is" argument. I mean it's true, but the same is true for shrooms. You don't know how much psilocybin is in each shroom. Some varieties are way stronger than others.

I will research more. Out of curiosity, what is lsd supposed to taste like?
Nothing.

I've heard in America 25i Nbome is often sold as LSD. As far as I know that usually comes on a bigger tab, has a metallic taste, and is only active sublingually.

Prefer LSD these days but man have I had some fun times on mushrooms. Ill never forget doing them in high school with friends and we just walked for hours. Friend had a pipe and some bud for the comedown it was needed

Shrooms were fun. Just make sure you are responsible and safe if you feel like moving onto higher dosages... Went balls deep on my second session with LSD 12 months ago and I'm still paying the price now and will never got back to ANY psychs again in my life. Just remember everyone will react different to this shit and some people have a low tolerance.

Shrooms are my favorite. For whatever reason to me it just feels like being drunk while sober mentally + visuals. This led to me to try drinking while on shrooms which was also great. Eases the anxiety so you just have a goofy shroomy euphoria

When a Moon Shaped Pool came out last year I decided to listen to it for the first time on acid while chilling out at a park.

Here's a picture I took. That was a pretty good day.

I want everyone on the Planet to try Ayahuasca, because I both love and hate mankind and they need this horrible wonderful experience.

Last time I did shrooms it felt like I was going down the some amazing infinitely long alien water slide. It was the best thing. Then the other 75% of them kicked in...

My first and only experience was in Amsterdam with some friends, laying on a water bed - we tried watching Everybody Love's Raymond but had to stop it a few minutes in as we all collectively thought Frank was looking like a Klingon at the time..

latest

.. yeah, I don't get it either in hindsight, lol.

Sure, hairline, forehead. That's easy on shrooms, haha.

Music just becomes utter gibberish on dmt and much harder to breakthrough in my experience. Silence is golden

It's such a truly unique, alien experience even among psychedelics that it should be treated as such anyway. The non-breakthrough and low dose visuals are very much what most people expect acid and shrooms to be tho.
