Alright, so I decided to ask a few people about their thoughts and here's what I got from one of them (this guy also happens to be the webmaster of gcadvanced.com but that has no relevance)...

This is correct. It's almost over now, no one is changing their mind, and we won't have to deal with this shit for another 4 years.
