I figured it could not hurt to ask, but does anyone here stream their video games to youtube? Horror and JRPG/Action RPGS specifically?

If any of you do, would you mind sending me your link here? I have a YouTube as well, but my videos are mostly just for myself. I'm mute, so I can't speak during my streams, and I do not use a cam. which more than likely makes my streams boring for people.

Not mine, but I used to watch no comment playthrough of horror games I have already finished from this channel:

The only thing bothering me something is the permanent on screen logo but I like the way he plays, taking his time.

I have before. When GG strive came out, I was playing disgusting amounts of it, knowing that could not last. At some point I started feeling lonely playing lol. So I attached my twitch account and hit that share button.

Talking while playing was tricky at first but I'm a real motormouth so I was able to get used to that in a day.

My friends started dropping in first and after two weeks or so I was getting 10-20 people in the chat on the regular. When I had to hang up my guns for strive (seriously my life would be ruined), I just stopped. Those friends often ask me to stream again, though. I actually bought a capture card when I was thinking about it because I'd like to stream variety/retro off of my old console collection.

What exactly is so fun about streaming yourself playing games on YouTube?

I can’t imagine it’s fun playing games and at same trying to entertain YouTube viewers.

It's honestly difficult to do, when I stream I don't even have the chat up. No one watches but even if they do, I don't really want to engage. It's even more difficult with VR. Some of the channels streaming VR have the text to voice turned on, couple in the YT delay, absolute nightmare and it makes the game look like hell because the streamer cant focus on the game, or the chat. When I stream its usually VR cause it's niche and I want to help the VR algorithm by getting decent gameplay footage out there, but no one watches those either, lol.

Not really about forcing entertainment, but rather just being yourself. Which is why I don't care for the big-name streamers who rage in front of their screen like idiots. (markiplier, jacksepticeye) I am more interested in the down to earth normal reaction people.

Now that I think of it, I have stream just two times since strive. Once was paper beast and once was no man's sky (vr).

Asmongold clips are hilarious. Watch him play thru AltF4 the game if you want to belly laugh for 2.5 hours. It's all on youtube.

If you hate him, no worries, it's basically a torture video but it is him being tortured so you are good. The one I saw was I believe 3 vids maybe 45 minutes each that was just the highlights but I'm sure the actual stream was several hours long.

Youtube will have both highlights and the actual streams as long as you don't care that they aren't live.

I don't hate him. Isn't he in the middle of a redemption arc on youtube since it looks like he is actually cleaning house now? I saw those pictures of what it used to look like and I had to stop once I saw all the spiders in the sink.

Good on him if he can keep it up.
