Ya my fam had it in October. Fuckin horrible all around. Mostly for me. My wife at least was able to sleep through most of it. I couldn’t sit still and just felt like shit. Surprisingly I had no cough symptoms and still had a sense of smell. Just everything that comes with a high fever.

When I got it, I lost my taste what was weird, I ate nothing but cheap noodles and vegetables (no point eating things I actually like the taste off) haha

I caught COVID on a Wednesday two weeks ago.

It wasn't that bad for me. At first, it felt more like i had a really bad cold. I had the shivers and fever but that only lasted two days. After day three I slept a lot, like 12 hours.

The end of the week, i had a cough but that's it. Never lost my taste or smell. No diarrhea or headaches. I was... Okay.

I guess what helped was taking a lot of multivitamins and drinking a lot of water. Plus constantly washing my mouth, try cough up anything in my lungs and that's it.

Congrats, have fun!

No, it's not that bad if you're otherwise healthy. I had it in Jan/Feb, it sucked for a few days and then sucked a little less for another week or so.

I'm still positive but I feel I am over the hump unless there are some nasty surprises. This is gross but the worst part is really bad diarrhea which is now getting better.

I got it yesterday, hurts like a motherfucker, dizzy, fever... Not worried though, as long as I don't get pneumonia I'll be fine.

Edit: Three shots of vaxx

Sucks that you got it, OP, but at the same time be grateful you’re definitely getting the most mild version of COVID. Hopefully you recover soon and don’t have any lingering effects.

I currently have it for the first time as well. Symptoms started early Sunday, by Sunday night I was aching all over, had chills, fever of 103, and couldn’t keep down water.

Was much better Monday, and fever is completely gone today.

As I write this post, I sit on the porcelain throne dealing with the one symptom that yet lingers.

The squirtle poops.

So I tested positive... Third day now and it's getting worse. Closing to 40c and cough like there's no tomorrow.
Only had two vaccine shots, was about to get the third but I got the shingles last year. Was adviced to wait with further vaccine shots.

On the plus side is that I can drink fluids and I still have taste and smell.

My child was feeling ill last night and did Covid test - and got positive. Supposedly from outing with my ex a few days ago in the crowd?
Just mild fever, and little bit of sore throat / runny nose. No real coughing yet - so crossing fingers. It just feels worse when your child is sick.

So far, my test is coming up negative and am required to work from home - which I don't mind that much...

Hopefuly you will survive.

Otherwise those posts mocking you will look pretty embarassing

Caught this damn thing twice. Lasted me 2 days each, minor symptoms. Was already vaccinated, thankfuly.

Get well soon, OP

4 vaccines and I did get sick last 2 years but I never did Corona test. Never fever or cough but I’m pretty sure I got it multiple times as I go out a lot 😹.

Going through what you experienced right now. The fever, temp fluctuations and headaches a real pain and keeping me up for about 2 days without long term sleep.

Taking paracetemol (tylenol) at night to help.
