It's days before Spring and we're getting a good amount of snow. It was 60 degrees yesterday, and today...we're getting a good amount of snow. It's the middle of fucking March, and today...w'ere getting a good amount of snow. It was 50 degree weather everyday for a week+ in February, and yet in the middle of March...we're getting a good amount of snow.

Fuck. This. Climate. Up. The. Ass.
 
same here in VA. This Morning it was raining hard as crap, and then it started snowing hard as crap.
 
Yeah, it sucks. I'm in NJ. Yesterday at lunchtime I went out in a T-shirt. Today getting lunch was horrible, with crazy winds blowing snow into my face.
 
If you've lived in NY/NJ for a long period of time you are MORE than aware of the phenomenon known as: March Madness (March's weather is TERRIBLY undecided!).

We've had snow in April... so... FINGERS CROSSED!!111!11!

I've lived my entire life in NYC. And I don't remember such sporadic weather. Usually, it would snow hard just once and a few flurries would come along here and there after. But this winter has been nothing but snow. >=( And yeah, that April downfall was really, really weird.

Fair point. I'm back and forth from NJ and NY constantly (live in NJ... worked and went to school in NY) and I've found that it was Jersey that got the WEIRDER of the weather. I'm not in the country this year... but from what I'm told... you guys are getting absolutely pounded. Truth is... we were due :/

Warm Winter next year?! :)
 
As a childish student I approve of this weather. It's fun! I just want to run outside and get blinded by the sharp snow and suffocated by the strong winds. Not to mention if this continues I might not have school tomorrow! (the roads are REALLY bad right now since we had rain first and it's all frozen under it)

Sure I live in Wisconsin so I'm kind of asking for it but 60 F followed by 40 F followed by 31 F highs. Eat it, Wisconsin.

Here in Indy it's fucking alternating between massive fuck-me-I'm-dying snowstorms and March-style windy balminess here, plus it's much colder out than it should be. Is this the end of the goddamn world or something?

Wow, the weather here in NY is ridiculous today. Like Alpha said, yesterday was in the high 50's and today my car's temp reading said 20 degrees just an hour ago. It dropped about 25-30 degrees from 9 AM-3PM today. Unbelievable. And the wind! We're talking, like, 30-40 mph gusts constantly-- my entire car was shaking as I was sitting in it warming it up. I nearly got frostbite from the wind in the 30 seconds I was outside while I was cleaning my rear window off.


This sucks ass. <mad>

A bit OT, but did anyone think, at the Post-Oscars Governor's ball, that a jealous Arnold was going to take all the oscar winners in a room and beat them up for their Oscars since he never won one? :)

heh, sounds like Northern Japan ATM. I'm looking out the window at work and I can't see the parking lot that's right outside because the crazy winds (30-40mph) and the snow they blow.

Wouldn't be so bad if I could drive to fucking work but bullshit insurance issues means walking against the wind for 1-2 miles.
 
i love having this NY/CA debate on IRC...

all i usually have to do to shut people up is threaten to spoil 24...

i have never actually done it, but it's just funny to see them say "don't go there!"

as far as the weather goes, i've been living in NY since '95.. walked right into the BLIZZARD OF '96 for my first winter... had to shovel a few feet of snow from a driveway, that was fun... that and the summer heat wave was all i needed to get used to NY weather...

Scratch that comment about 30-40 mph sustained gusts. They just said on the local news that the gusts are 58 mph now; having just come in from shovelling (or trying to shovel-- it's all ice now), I can vouch for the wind speed. Insane. 20 degrees + 60 mph winds = instant death. :D
 
Shit. I'll be in Boston on Sunday and I was hoping the snow would be gone by then. Fuck this cold weather bullshit.
