Honestly I had no issues with the console. It was well designed and quiet. My issues were:This generation of MS consoles is awesome to me, I like Quick Resume feature so much! The store have so many games to buy, and sales are pretty often. It has the features in software and hardware to enhance my total view of appreciation
Maybe am overdramatizing this but it feels like people are pushing negativity towards this MS's generation too much

Cope...it is not
For me at least it's simply a platform - hardware pieces put together in a one pieceThe console is fine. Microsoft are trying to fix a software problem with hardware.
Keep saying 'MOST POWERFUL' in an attempt to brute force success. Ifs the MS way.
Reality is that Nintendo has demonstrated once again that great software will shift units regardless of the hardware power.
But MS don't listen and it falls on deaf ears.
Ask the Xbox 360What does that do?
I'm talking about exclusives in general. If you have a PC, then there's no reason to own an Xbox unless you REALLY want to play Halo 5 or FM5. They're also beginning to port stuff to PS5 as well, which makes this even worse. And the quality of their first party titles hasn't been the greatest so far.I mean its not they don't have console exclusives. Its more that they haven't found a proper stride this generation outside of offering Game Pass. They had their chances with Halo Infinite and Starfield; which were supposed to be massive and forever games. But they both failed to meet expectations and barely made an impact upon release. And the rest of the games aren't really mainstream enough like AOE, MSFS and other games like Pentiment, Hellblade 2 and Psychonauts.
If we had a good FPS with Perfect Dark, TPS with Gears, and an epic Fable earlier in the generation maybe that could've helped. But right now its feels too little, too late. Which is why they're just moving onto the next after some games already deep in development - Indy and Doom.
Those Sony exclusives sell tens of millions or more.
Yes, people are buying Playstations to play not only CoD...but also Spider-Man
It makes a difference
Flight Sim is cool but pretty niche. Hellblade II was a 6/10 at best. Barely a game even. Stalker II is not out yet, neither is Indy btw. I hope both of them will be good but I doubt they'll be 10/10.so flight sim 2024, hellblade 2, indie, age of empires, age of mythology retold, indie, stalker 2…are nothing to compare vs Astro bot and SH2 remake?
It doesn't have to be an either or. Gamepass is great for exclusives and can be turned on and off as needed. I do it on PC and played a lot of games I wouldn't have otherwise. I still get exclusive PS5 and Switch Games and multiplats that aren't on Gamepass.Brilliant console with nice features held back by MS's incompetency and lack of goodexclusivesgames.
Game pass, while "revolutionary" in the beginning as an idea, is a cancer that spread quickly, conditioning its userbase in not spending a dime in actual games due to the "if it's not on GP I won't bother" mentality.
Again, lovely hardware (so silent/quiet), some really nice features (QR, BC) but terrible everything else.
Personally, I'm happy to have exited their terrible ecosystem, nowadays I prefer to actually buy the games I'm interested in and not getting fed the ones a sub service provides.
This. Agreed. It’s a great piece of hardware, though. I got mine near end of 2021 and I use it allll the time. At least as much as Switch, sometimes more. It’s a good piece of hardware and BC is an amazing feature. Hard to feel enthusiastic when the future is so uncertain.

Some people may be negative about the Series X due to several reasons:
* Lack of Exclusive Titles: While the Series X is a powerful console, it hasn't always had a strong lineup of exclusive titles. Some players prefer consoles with a larger library of exclusive games.
* Xbox Live Gold Controversy: In the past, Xbox Live Gold was required for online multiplayer, which was seen as a negative by many players.
* Game Pass Controversy: Some players have expressed concerns about the value proposition of Game Pass, particularly regarding the inclusion of older games and the potential for day-one releases.
* Microsoft's Strategy: Microsoft's focus on cloud gaming and game streaming has sometimes been met with skepticism, as some players prefer traditional console gaming experiences.
However, the Series X is a powerful console with many advantages:
* Impressive Hardware: The Series X boasts powerful hardware that enables high-resolution, high-frame-rate gaming.
* Game Pass: Game Pass offers a great value proposition, providing access to a large library of games for a monthly fee.
* Backward Compatibility: The Series X is backwards compatible with many Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, allowing you to play a wide range of titles.
* Quick Resume: Quick Resume allows you to quickly switch between multiple games, making it easy to jump back into your games where you left off.
Overall, the Series X is a great console with a lot to offer. While it may not be perfect, it's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new gaming console.
I give you that , I Could probably mention wukong’s 4.5m copies sold on PS5…and to clarify, the thread is about OP not understanding all that hate towards Xbox.Yep just that the poster you replied to just stated his opinion about his preferences, that somehow got you triggered into a list war...Him liking two games more than the Xbox lineup doesn't meant it is the entirity of sony's lineup but I'm sure that if you had listed you'd have mentioned Black myth wukong right ?You and all of your good faith after all you "own all console" therefore can't be a warrior right ?No you just get triggered when * checks thread* someone likes sony's lineup more than MS ....That sure checks out.
Flight sim 15 million players is 10x more than Astrobot, 15x more than stellarblade, 5x more than rise of ronin, even more than helldivers 2…but yes, it is very niche.Flight Sim is cool but pretty niche. Because history shows that without a compelling reason, people won't change their buying habits and so will stick with Nintendo and Sony. For me at least it's simply a platform - hardware pieces put together in a one piece
Why exclusivity is so important?
So we're now comparing sales to what could be people trying a game out for 15 minutes until they fly over their house.Flight sim 15 million players is 10x more than Astrobot, 15x more than stellarblade, 5x more than rise of ronin, even more than helldivers 2…but yes, it is very niche.
On Xbox only or on Xbox and PC combined? How many of them have bought the game? Niche maybe was the wrong word here, but it's a special genre for sure and I think few people buy an Xbox to play Flight Sim.I give you that , I Could probably mention wukong’s 4.5m copies sold on PS5…and to clarify, the thread is about OP not understanding all that hate towards Xbox.

Love it! Xbox fans are enjoying it.

All the negativity was (is) about the Series S.I'm struggling to understand where the OP found negativity about the Series X. To my mind all the negativity is about everything EXCEPT the Series X.
The hardware is fine, even if the controller is missing the features of the competition.
The issue is, why would anyone support it, if they keep putting their games on PS5?
You have two choices - one with fewer third-parties games and Xbox First-Party games, and another with more third-party games, PlayStation First-Party games AND Xbox First-Party games.
I think Spiderman sells well because of the install base....but is not the main driver of the install base.
I care a lot about lots of franchises and "Japanese nonsense" that's not on Xbox. Also the whole “less third party games” narrative is console war nonsense. Outside of money hat deals Xbox gets almost all of the same games except niche Japanese nonsense Xbox and PS owners don’t care much about.
For how many games does it work on PS?Question for Xbox owners about the much-touted Quick Resume feature. If I want to pause playing a game on PS5, I put the console into Rest mode. Then, a couple hours later when I want to resume, I turn the console on, and I'm back in the game at the same point. How does the Quick Resume feature differ from this?
True but the problem for an Xbox owner is you can’t play your back log on PC. I’m glad I have both. As MS products I see my Xbox as an extension of my pC/ windows account. It’s not bad, it’s just not as good as a gaming pc. Gamepass on pc is cheaper and gets more of the games now. Sales are better on Steam and cdkey type sites. All Xbox games are there day 1. Etc.
I also can’t stand the Xbox UI but that might just be a me thing.

Moonlight/sunshine.Would be incredible if you could stream gamepass via PC to it but that is a step too far I think.
I use this so much, it is so pleasantYou can do it with multiple games and I might be wrong on this since I haven't utilized the feature that much; with an update that they released later, you can even resume a game after a full shutdown. On the PS5, you are putting the system to sleep and going back to that last game you had running while with Xbox, you can return to any of the games that have been put in "quick resume" mode. It's like having multiple windows open on your computer and if you don't close it out you can return to them, or sort of like how it is on our phones. I am not sure if you can do it with more than 5 games now but that's what I remember from launch and as I shared earlier, it's not I feature I use that often. I barely use the resume feature on PS5 so lol.
