RotK was pretty good, actually. I liked it much better than either TT or the more recent Demon Stone.

The first Buffy was a pretty decent BEU. You can't beat Double Dragon Advance, Final Fight One, or Advance Guardian Heroes for the GBA though.

...Unless you just use MAME.

EDIT: If you're looking for something different, try out Deathrow for the Xbox. It's a team based sports game that feels like a combination of a BEU, fighting game, and ultimate frisbee all rolled into one.

It's 6:30 in the morning and I shoudl get some sleep, but we can play together sometime, assuming I can find the rom And thanks for the Deathrow advice, but I already have it, and while it's a really fun game, it's not exactly what I want.

That said, I'm off to hit the sack. Oh, and I ordered ROTK and am looking for a good price on Buffy on ebay. Thanks for the advices everyone.

Final Fight CD music at first seems cool but I prefer the old CPS-1 sound...Awesome game.

Advance Guardian Heroes is barely playable due to its massive slowdown. It's not a vague complaint, I've tried and I just cannot get around it. I had lots of fun with Astroboy (GBA) though. I find it much better than the tired AGH and its massive slowdown is more bearable. Not exactly a Final Fight, but it's still the best beat'em up I've played recently.

If you don't mind trying old things I would suggest Sengoku 3...Neogeo. I loved it.

1 and 2 are both awesome in different ways, 3 is a good game but the soundtrack often did my head in.
