I am a medical professional. You should check your state guidelines; however recommendations are if you are fully vaccinated you can go out in public. If you are unvaccinated you are supposed to isolate 5 days, and the CDC recommends that you wear a mask at home around people with covid. Frankly, if you're vaccinated and don't want to get covid you should stay away from your father either way. In reality, people are not really isolating from teh general public if they have a contact unless they care a lot. Remember there are oodles and oodles of breakthrough infections with omicron; so use that to guide your decision making.

I’d stay say home if your job would compensate you. My place is cool with the whole covid shit. People obviously try and take advantage though.

Where I live in this situation we would be able to work legally, but at our office if someone in your house has Covid we ask that you stay home/work from home.
We had a situation earlier this year where 8 out of the 20 people in our office had covid at the same time that was a nightmare.

rules are different depending on where you are. i don't know where you live. you'd be quicker searching online.
even if you don't have symptoms you should isolate if you can but some places might still require you to go to work. you should know your work rules. just be cautious and again i highly recommend familiarising yourself with your local/work guidelines.
