Wow, everyone on this forum hates her... but I respect her, and so should you for the following reason.
This summer, my 18 year old brother died of cancer, but before that happened, I was to do a bone marrow transplant at St. Jude's hospital (which sadly never happened, although, I was at St. Judes for 10 days). During my stay at St. Judes, my Dad told me Ashlee Simpson was going to do a free concert at one of the "apartments" where the families of many ill children stay. I went to the concert, as did 50 other people (many hairless, very sick children), and it was sooo bittersweet. She made these kids soo happy, something all of them really needed. She also sang accusticly, and she has a great voice (regardless of some recent evidence).
So next time you think about dissing her, remember that she's at the very least a decent person, if not a decent singer
