Do you guys know of any sites where i can get (hopefully for free) software that will allow me to password protect individual folders on my xp machine? Also is there any software out there that i can get that will serve as a password sniffer for my box. I have lil' cousins who I allow to use my computer for internet access and thier parents want to know what they are up to. Thanks in advance.

For the first question, isn't that built into XP?

For the second, perhaps you want some proxy software which can track and block websites. Do you need the passwords, or do you just need to know where they've been?

I have the home edition I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. And we would like to be able to track where they have been and get their passwords so that we can watch them. We are kinda concerned about the younger boy.

get a keystroke logger, also can't you set up multiple user accounts, give the one they will be using standard user access and only your password protected account should have rights to all your porn, er GROWN UP STUFF.

Create a user for them, its easy give them a limited account. You don't even need to put a password on it.

They won't be able to go into to your "Myy documents" folder.Thats if you have your hard drive formated in NTFS.

You have XP; go into administrator and make a limited account restricting access to most of the machine except internet obviously, in addition to keystroke loggers and the like.

Crap, beaten like O'Reiley's vibrator...
