I really should get some work done

It's 2.30am here in Glasgow. And I have a massive translation thing for a tutorial tomorrow, which I still started. I'm thinking maybe I'll just blow tomorrow off. But I've already blown off two days this week, and this is the final stretch of my final year. And I may have already missed a lot of classes last week, due to confusion over whether they had started up after the holidays or not (you'd think my lecture timetable would state useful information like when teaching starts and stops, but you'd be wrong).

Now if I haven't missed last weeks, then I should be able to get away with half doing it. But if I have missed last weeks then half doing it, and therefore also doing the wrong passage, is going to be harder to let slide.

So that's me. How are you?

I've attended every class of this semester so far. This is a source of pride, since I missed about a quarter of them in the Fall. Still, I'm not too punctual with reading yet. I procrastinate a little, though I think I've improved. I plan to get some stuff done tonight, so long as RE4 or GAF don't distract me.

Oh, and I'm heading to Glasgow for three weeks in June/July (likely heading elsewhere from there during my stay). Looking forward to it.

2:46am here in St. Andrews ;)

Got a Final in oh... 7 hours or so. Just wanna be fucking done with it so I can hit the pubs... finally. Sucks when all your friends text you during the week and you gotta be like: Sorry, mate, gotta study.

Can't believe I'm saying "mate" now.

I know I should just get it done. But I also have to do the dishes first, in order to clear the table, so that adds to the incentive to procrastinate.

And I've just checked my departments webpage, and not even a mention of when week1 commenced. Seriously tomorrow, if anyone gives me grief for not showing up, I'll probably start ranting about that.

It doesn't help that the University last year switched to semesters, which they call teaching periods, but my department, being as they're slightly old fashioned, has stuck with referring to all timetable stuff with terms. So week 1 of the University's teaching period doesn't necessarily correlate to week 1 of the department's term. Then to confuse matters further, not every modules week1 starts in the same week.

I do find my lecturers fuddy-duddiness to be endearing most of the time, but in this case it is really frustrating. I'm so worked up now, I don't think I need someone to say anything to me, I'm just gonna rant tomorrow.
