... there must be some toros in the atmosphere.

Winter sux!

5F here with a little snow on the ground. If Hell was a cold place, it'd be in MN.

Post your weather conditions.

Forecast for all of this week: 70 degrees for a high and sunny; overnight lows near 50 degrees; slight chance of fog diminishing as the week goes on.

Sorry, man...if I had a basement, I'd start an underground railroad for people needing a break from winter weather.

31 degrees here in NJ, and high winds. A couple of days ago we got a lethal mix of rain, sleet, and freezing temperatures, which made scraping the ice off my car's windshield the next morning a pain in the ass.

I read in the paper this morning that retailers are blaming SoCal weather for lower sales. They claim the weather is too hot to put shoppers in the Christmas mood.

I think it was worse in MN yesterday with all the freezing rain. Must have seen about 10 accidents on the way to work in the morning.

Wouldn't that mean that we'd hear about that every year?

Nah, it was in the 80s last weekend, compared to the usually frigid upper 60s and 70s we get this time of year. :)

Northern Ireland weather is bland in winter we are around 0 degrees C although its 6 today. In Summer we are lucky to reach 20.

And F is a wierd temperature scale, metric is too hard for America I guess

Y'know, I think there's something to that theory. Being a native Northeaster myself, I have ALWAYS struggled with it "feeling like Christmas" this time of year -- no snow, no cold weather. When you drive around and see lights strung around palm trees, it does tend to break the holiday mood.

Of course, it's funny that retailers are blaming our local weather when it seems that Christmas sales are disappointing this year in most places around the country. It's always hard to get data in the middle of the holiday push, but at the very least, the take seems to be that we aren't going to have a strong season...again.

Yeah, I guess it could be tough if you're from a place with snow. As a native Californian, the 60 degree temperatures and seeing snow in the mountains is enough to make it feel like winter to me. :)

Actually, sales are up for those in the upper class, while they are down for everyone else. I wonder why that is....

Heat in Dubai is 25 degrees celcius. It rained here the other day thought. The last time it rained was about a year ago. Too bad it lasted for only 2 minutes and stopped. I really think someone should swap with me. I would love to be in that cold weather for once:mad:

Yes, it was definitely worse yesterday. The roads were just too icy and driving felt like ice skating with cars. But dammit, it's still cold today. :p

Yea freezing rain sucks. It took me like 20 minutes to hack off all that ice from my car. The worst was last january. For a week it felt like -40F thanks to the wind, and the only way i had to get to class was walking :((In MN too)
