I Started A Religion Based Off My Waifu

Nobody_Important

“Aww, it’s so...average,” she said to him in a cold brick of passion
That's so 2021. New hotness is getting a small homie that will dress up as your waifu.

I find it a little funny, but I don't like laughing at anyone, because I have a bit of a weeb in me. Maybe not that extreme, but I love Japan, and appreciate a cute waifu.

I'm of the mind that if they're not hurting anyone, and are legitimately happy, who am I to judge?

I also think this is bull shit though, and think it's just a spoiled rich person who just is doing this as kind of piece of modern art thing. If you were really obsessed with a waifu, I feel like there are more creative ways to go about it than just constantly printing things. It comes across as not quite a legit "waifu obsession" thing, and just more of someone trying to make a scene with their quirky behavior. Where are the Sayaka cosplay outfits, or the figure displays, and copies of Danganronpa for every platform.

Looking through his twitter, he just seems to be a sort of weird guy obsessed with paper craft. He's got lots of print outs of other waifus and stuff too decorating his home in other pictures and videos.

Okay, yeah that's kinda what I thought. After your comment, I decided to look at his twitter, and his pinned post pretty much explains exactly who he is, and tbh, I respect it.

Dude has the money and the means to do what he likes, and I'll be damned if I'm not jealous of that. I also agree that there is a bit of a surreal aspect of seeing some of the larger stuff he makes, or when the smaller ones when they're all lined up like that.

I mean hell, one of the great things about Akihabara when I was there was the barrage of cute anime plastered all over the billboards and signs, so I ain't gonna deny that what he does is kinda cool.

The dude needs to meet a good woman. To be honest this is just sad. I know, I know, "but it makes him happy what's the problem?" Part of me agrees with that, but for someone reason the overwhelming majority of me finds this a mixture of sad and creepy. He's got money, that's for sure, so ultimately he can do what he wants, but he is most definitely choosing to be awkward in perpetuity with this particular lifestyle choice. I wonder if he'll get lonely, or if perhaps these paper crafts make him feel as though someone's actually spending time with him.....

Lot to unpack here, but I'm once again reminded that I did the right thing in leaving the west coast. Christ it's like there's something in the water over there.

As an influencer this guy seems healthier for the individual and community than Tate.
Maybe, The Compass for this religion points true?
