In all seriousness, it could have been a lot worse but one of our old trees lost a good portion of it and clipped the back corner of our roof. My mom's 30-year old staghorn fern was crushed as well which was quite upsetting to her (not to mention worth a few thousand bucks) as well.. but I got some crazy pictures the day after.
The winds hit 105 mph in downtown Orlando and unfortunately I'm about 2 miles from there. I have about 150 photos -- would have taken more but my battery died and I had no way to charge it as my house still has no power and likely wont for upwards of a week. Fortunately I'm back up at school now so I can post them!
This is our backyard after the storm. My mom and dad were just as distraught over the tree being damaged as our roof.
This guy got so lucky.. not a SCRATCH on his car
This person didnt fair so well.. makings of an OWNED pic to be sure.
Our neighbor's house. Pine tree split the roof perfectly.
Ouch.
I have no clue how the entire tree got up there.
Charley was playing basketball I guess?
I have tons more photos that I'll probably upload later.
