The steroid scandal of the Olympics comes down to the love triangle of Marion Jones, CJ Hunter, and Tim Montgomery. Those who have kept up with the story and remember my post several months ago remember.

It didn't get a lot of love, but CJ just got summoned forth on the grand jury. I'm telling you he was the one to break the silence on the designer drug that everyone is taking.

F them all as far as I'm concerned. A cheater is a cheater, and this "I never failed a drug test" cry is a cop-out. Of course you didn't fail a drug test cause people didn't know how to test for what you were taking, snaggle-tooth! I'm embarressed to be an American because of these lowlifes that made me think our Track and Field dominance was legit cause "our top athletes were clean". Now it comes out that Carl Lewis failed tests and was covered up for by our own agency. We're just sad.

It's just sad that us naive 80's kids thought our crap was above board, turns out it wasn't. We're dogging Ben Johnson for cheating while Carl Lewis is thinking "How did you smoke my jacked-up ass?"

Heh, it is pretty funny isn't it. Far as I know there's been five runners from that Seoul 100 metres race that have since tested positive for 'roids, in addition to Ben. Which basically means our cheat was faster then your cheat. :lol

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if CJ was the one who dimed those two out...dude gets dumped after all the shit goes down with him, then jumps into the arms of Cheatboy 2.0. I'd fuck 'em up too if I had the chance. That Conte guy was right about one thing...Marion's claims of innocence during the summer was one of the most convincing performances I've ever seen. Damn near had me fooled.

First of all, I want to know just how widespread this Balco stuff got. I've got a hard time believing it was just the ten or fifteen athletes that have been speculated on. I wanna see just how deep this went. Second, I want to know if there are other facilities similiar to Balco out there, and if so how many. And third, I want people to go back to those leaked documents from the US Track and Field team, where they accounted for over a hundred failed drug tests that were covered up in the late 80's and early 90's. And I want names...fuck the lawsuits. This is turning into a snowball now, and it's hard to fight it when it's gaining as much momentum as it has.

The best part about that race is the incredulous look on Carl Lewis' face as he got smoked. It's like "damn I've been shooting up with horse tranquilizer for nothin!"

:lol I'll always maintain that it's the greatest sporting feat I've ever seen. Drugs, cheating, whatever...to see a man run under 9.8 while putting his arm up in the air and looking back over his shoulder ten yards out and completely destroying the field the way he did was just a mindblowing thing to witness.
