Gotta say, I see nothing wrong with the thread either. Seem well intended.

EDIT: Out of curiosity, who actually handles the emails? Is it all mods or just a few? Maybe such an answer shouldn't be made public, but I'm just curious.

Why not start it over again?

The GBA has been a terrific system for RPGers, but it looks as though the DS is going to not only continue the GBA legacy, but build upon it. The recent announcement from Namco about Baten Kaitos DS and Xenosaga DS prompted me to compile the following list.

Confirmed RPG/Adventure RPG/Strategy Titles for DS

Nintendo:
Another
Advance Wars DS
Animal Crossing DS
Legend of Zelda DS
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

Square Enix:
Final Fantasy III
Egg Monster Hero
New Dragon Quest Caravan RPG
New Dragon Quest Slime RPG
New Secret of Mana RPG
New Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles RPG

Namco:
New Baten Kaitos RPG
New Xenosaga RPG

Konami:
Vandal Hearts DS
Boktai DS
Survival Kids DS (similar to Zelda/Harvest Moon)
Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Yugioh: Nightmare of Troubadour

Atlus:
Shin Megami Tensei DS

Gamearts:
New RPG

Chunsoft:
New Mysterious Dungeon RPG

Marvelous Interactive:
Harvest Moon DS
New RPG

That list is absolutely fantastic! Whether you think the DS is being utilized to its full potential or not, if you're an RPG fan, the DS will absolutely not disappoint.

That's a total of 23 RPG/Adventure RPG/Strategy games ANNOUNCED for release on the Nintendo DS.

[EDIT]Sources were ds.ign.com, gamespot.com, nintendo.com and unfortunately I was unable to get a translated version of nintendo.co.jp's ds game list, so I could not incorporate what might be on it[/EDIT]
