If I wanted to hook a PS2/GCN up to my monitor, what would I need?

Yes. The topic that will never die! Maybe console manufacturers will make it so that such a question won't be a mystery next-gen. BTW, I have a 15-pin connector instead of DVI.

PSX/2, GC, XB 3in1 VGA Box

* 3rd party product.
* Compatible with all versions of PSX/PSX2, GC & XB consoles.
* Support both NTSC or PAL consoles.
* No need to add external power.
* Ultra high quality screen display - much better than the normal S-video output.
* Built in switch box - press a button to switch between console and PC computer.
* Support all the games.

This device doesn't produce progressive scan, mind you.
You'd want something dedicated seperately for each console if you're after that.
And they would only work with progressive scan games.
