If I won $50 after taxes... The house I would build would have a Batpole from the attic to the basement. I would have some way of pressing a button for whatever floor you select... a pad would close off the first floor and basement if you wanted the 2nd. floor.

Any house I'm building regardless of millionaireness is going to have at least one secret passage or hidden door. That's just not even negotiable.

If I won millions, my house would have many, many sweet hidden passages, doors, secret attic rooms and more than likely a tunnel from the garage to a dusty corner of the furnace room. I once saw a TLC show about secret passages and they had this one hidden club (I vaguely recall it was a speakeasy during prohibition) in I think chicago or Boston that was so insanely cool I almost died. The hidden door was in the freezer, and you used a straightened coat hanger sitting nearby to poke through a tiny hole and unlock the door, which made an entire section of brick wall slide smoothly open.

I share this same sentiment. Ever since 3rd grade when I read "Through the Looking Glass" and the "Chronicles of Narnia" series the whole idea of secrets and hidden passages always struck me as something I must have in my life manifested through the narrow halls of secret passage ways and hinged grandfather clocks.

I would go with the secret passages so I could act like a vampire ninja. No one would ever know where I was or how I got there. The only issue would be earning the money for it.

I can't remember who it was here that found a secret room in their closet. That would be awesome. Someone also brought up having it complete with "Link found a secret" sound from LTTP. :lol
