I'd link everyone's tags to the threads/posts that they earned them in.

If I was the admin, I'd reinstitute animated avatars and put in the option for stickied posts that would appear at the top of every page.
 
I'd crack down on the passive-aggressiveness that's gotten pretty common around here. That shit is obnoxious.

Also, what's this?! blame space is a mod lol
 
I'd ban anyone that can't write a 16-page thesis explaining why Kanye is the most culturally important artist since John Lennon.
 
Off the top, I would probably give temp ban time outs to people who're so invested in this forum that they make posts daydreaming about what they'd do with mod abilities.

But before that I'd ban people for the use of the word 'overrated,' with the length of the ban dependent upon how egregiously the poster treated that word as an objective critique of a thing rather than a personal inference that has no relevance to anyone else.

Seriously, threads that are essentially "I think other people like this thing too much." make me mean mad.
 
in a legitimate answer, i would institute a weekly Gorilla avatar rule.

every tuesday at 1pm EST/EDT, all users are to wear a Gorilla based avatar.

this will last for 24 hours, at which point they can go back to normal

If you make me a mod, I will erect a wall between gaming side and OT side, and I will make the fanboys and toilet thread posters pay for it.
 
Anyone who posted images in a screenshot thread without naming the game (or character, if that's the topic) would be banned.

Not really, but it might be tempting.
 
Is "witch-hunting" ala reddit a bannable offense on NeoGaf? Like say incessant hating on a sports team in a community thread? If it isn't I would enact that, shits really annoying.
 
Seeing blame space's name in red makes me remember I've yet to see everything in this forum, and even life.
 
I'd bring the hammer down on racism against Asians, and Islamophobia.

Use racial slurs such as chinaman, chink, jap, oriental, gook, etc., then the ban hammer comes down.

Just like the mods currently do with racism against blacks, and anti-Semitism, and homophobia.

I don't think I'd be as quick to lock threads as Modbot though.
