I hadn't seen Cuphead before. That art style is fantastic, you definitely nailed the look and animations. Gameplay looks challenging too

Thanks-a-much! The style took a lot of iterations but we are very happy with the result.

And yes, Cuphead will have ample challenge (and the optional fights should make you curse out loud!).

Hey, hey - super late to the party but do have an entry to show.

Our game is Cuphead - Site | IGF

Cuphead is a run 'n gun - but instead of individual levels - you play bosses only (influenced by Contra III/HC & Gunstar Heroes). The visuals and audio are heavily inspired by the 1930's cartoon era.

Looks incredible! And it's got Gunstar influence behind it? Love it.
