(IGN INSIDER) doa4 trailer, 450mb

DOA4 just isn't worth a 450Mb download for me.

I'm not sure *any* game trailer would be though tbh.

I'd dl it, but no Insider. It may not be able to fill the same role that DOA3 did in being an Xbox showcase, but it is still a fine-looking DOA game.

If this video is in high-def resolution I would LOVE to hear how it looks - I have a feeling that the screenshots and low res video we've seen aren't really representing the games as they will appear on your TV.

wtf? intro started off fine but once the video really started i was getting like 1fps but constant sound.

any settings i can adjust or could it be the video itself? i usually never have a problem with large videos.

one of my friends just got downloading it as well and its choppy on his computer too.

i think the video is fucked up.

Video works fine for me.

Game actually looks really fucking sexy in motion.

It seems like the entire enviroment is alive.

i was just about to post the same thing. im watching it through the choppiness but damn does that look awesome in motion. especially the outdoor city part starting the 3 minute mark.

actually wait... this game crushes DOA U

no comparison

watching further into the video... it looks outstanding

DOA isn't worth a 1 MB download, period.

I meant the whole game too, not just the trailer ;) :P

(And hiya Tim, I just couldn't miss the fireworks :D)

After watching this video again and seeing all the small details I'd say this is the second most impressive looking 360 game behind Gears of War.

After watching this video if you mistake it for DoA:U you need your eyes checked.

500kb/second!!!! Here it cums!!!

BTW, is it just me or is IGN getting ass raped by Gamespot? Am I blind, or do they simply not have PS3 videos up yet?

The resolution is nice but the rest looks terrible. The girls hair at the beginning is ridiculous, flowing through her arms and body. Eh.

Yeah but that stuff will be fixed. It is early.

The flowing hair of the new chick is strange because in a later part Lei Fang is fighting and the way her hair flows looks fantastic.

:lol

I was contemplating the download to see what its like in motion but I guess I'll save my bandwidth now.

Anywhere where you can DL the entire MS or Sony conference?

^^^That doesnt look next gen?

I really don't understand some people. It looks every bit as good as any of the other games shown so far. The art style doesn't lend itself to some of the more impressive effects this generation will have to offer, but I just don't understand how some people can get excited about a single Tekken 6 character out of background and then turn around and say this doesn't look good. The game is gorgeous.

My computer can not run this very well, but it looks great. The part where they are battling in the wrestling ring looks insane, with all of the crowd and the lighting and keeping a steady framerate too, it looks very impressive.

I just witnessed the video, running at ~50fps (you need a blazing fast computer for this movie to run good, seriously. 2.8ghz here and it would sometimes be a tiny bit choppy).

But from what I saw... whoa... the screenshots do NOT give a good representation of next-gen AT ALL. The resolution and quality of the game/picture really gives me a better-than-at-home arcadey feel. The fine details in everything look amazing. Of course some things need to be ironed out (I'm not fan of the water, or hair going through body parts), but I'm sure that will be improved in time. Overall, I'm mighty impressed. I can't wait for IGN to post more of these.

Masterbit video of Killzone? Please?

Edit: Oh and why the huge filesize? Run this on a potent computer, and you'll understand why. 60fps footage at this high resolution is absolutely insane.

Are the character models in this movie identical to the pics that were released not too long ago, or do they look better?

Identical. But in motion, it looks amazing. Also another thing that you don't see in screenshots: ragdoll clothes.

It still has a long way to go. I am amazed that they missed the oportunity to show water as a next gen console do it as that was a pretty big "look at what we can do" moment for the Xbox 1.

it's amazing... the hair is really mismatched

that new girl in the beginning has her hair rendered strand by strand... and her kimono looks real almost.

but the rest of the characters have that floppy previous gen hair.

Like I said probably due to the fact that it's a port. New girl may have been built from the ground up for 360 while the rest are still in the porting process. Either way there's a long way to go until launch.

Just wanted to say that for folks who have trouble viewing this trailor(it was a frame fest for me)-you can encode it over to VCD/SVCD with TMPGEncPlus software. It took me about 25 minutes to do so and man.....sweeeet-the video now runs well on my old ass PC. Give it a shot, its well worth the convertion here. I'm going to burn this over to a CD and view it on my 32 inch set next. The video is pretty darn nice.

The clothing movement in the video is on par with that NBA 2k5 render/tech demo that came out last week. very impressive, if subtle, I think.

Just so you all know. These are 720p WMV movies. You need a fairly beefy computer to run them. That's why they are so large.

my p4 1.7ghz 256ram was just raped and abused by this movie. dont dl this if your not on some new high powered stuff.
