I think there is a clear difference between XB1 and PS4 in multiplayer. Singleplayer is almost identical between the two.
 
MP vs MP definitely deserves it's own thread. Quite frankly, the PS4 outclasses the XBO in every single measurable, technical, and perceivable way in the multiplayer portion of that footage.

tl; dr I said "damn."
 
I'm so impressed with the PS4 version I'll be picking it up along with my PC copy.

I really think I can have fun playing this game on console.
 
Is it possible they have 360 MP in this video. Honestly. It really looks drastically worse.
 
I just want to know how IGN got to play BF4 MP on Xbone when it was hidden from the rest of the world. It seems obvious now why it was hidden, if this footage is for real.
 
Dammit IGN, you had to have the XBO and PS4 flopped over from the DF version...my brain is moving slow.
 
Someone at IGN had to accidentally use 360 footage instead of Xbone. They had to. I don't understand how the campaign could be at least relatively close (despite lower res, funky textures, etc) and the MP could look like so different.

Hate me, but I feel the exact opposite. Not that I shouldn't have known knowing the actual specs of both of the new consoles.

I think rather what I expected 7 to 8 years after last gen started was just something more than what we are actually getting.

I feel so bad with this thought processes though like I'm in too much of a hater mode right now.

I thought so too but that's definitely the XBO d-pad on the HUD.

Honestly at this point that's got to be the case right?

The MP on XO looks to be under 720P, every line is aliased and the lighting seems inferior to, PS4 seems to have global ilumination + AO or at least one of them, look at the scene in the lab or whatever that is at the end.

Playing games on PC does that too you, it certainly can be a burden. At the end of the day though, I've found that after being PC exclusive for years, it's all about the experience your having and the games you're playing, not so much the benefits you get from playing on a superior platform.
 
The fact that I had to look as hard as I did for difference in SP means if the XBO footage is 720p then I really don't give a fuck.

I honestly wonder this since it looks that bad, lol. Plus there seems to otherwise be a lockdown on xb1 mp for this.
