Given the popularity of the Switch and full BC of Switch games on the Switch 2, they'd be hard pressed to make 'Deluxe' versions of Switch titles.

Definitely getting new numbered entries for the likes of Mario Kart and Smash

We will see. I fully expect "deluxe" or "Complete" editions of Switch titles w/ all DLC and increased graphics and frame rate. I am certain Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem 3H, Mario Kart 8D, XenoBlade 3, BoTW, all get new packages.

I do think some games will be offered digital upgrades. But, remember a lot of Nintendo's audience at the holidays looks for physical games. Which is why I think these games will exist.

It doesn't mean these series won't get new entries, but i do think these titles get re-released.

Boring. I hope not. They've been doing this for like 2 years to stretch out the switch but I really hope that they're not going to keep doing it especially with new hardware.

They may as well do It for Switch's final major year. Nintendo's only confirmed games for 2025 are Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (which everyone thinks will be a Switch 2 cross-gen launch title).

People forget how closely tied to the Wii control scheme and sensor bar Metroid Prime 3 is. It's not a GameCube port like 1 and 2 are. They will need to completely re-do the ENTIRE game in order to port it to the Switch. Star Fox Zero has the same problem, but with the Wii U contorller.

I've been saying this since 2017 and everyone always says I'm dumb and "of course they'll release Metroid Prime Trilogy/3 on the switch!" I don't see it happening without a drastic rework of the game, on a gameplay level. Not just controls. (That is, unless the Switch 2 can somehow imitate pointer controls without resorting to gyro pointer emulation.)

I want to believe that the next Pokemon game will look the part.

I just haven't felt the Pokemon GB(A) games' magic in such a long time. It would be awesome if they managed to deliver that again.

Maybe go isometric/top down view? 2DHD? Octopath Traveler style?

I'd love to see Pokemon succeed again and the last Switch games didn't do it for me.

Nah, that would actually be a pretty damn good year had they not fucked over fatal Frame, Xenoblade, and TMS with all the censorship.

Would be so sweet. Remaster it with the visual quality of the Wii U demo. Add some cut content, remove loading screens and make the world more cohesive. There's a lot off little things they could do that would truly enhance the game:

• More enemies and battles in the over world
• More aggressive A.I.
• More uses for Wolf Link
• Better combat for Wolf Link & Midna
• Master Quest like Dungeons for returning players
• Fix Link's face in cut-scenes
• Fix other faces
• More puzzles and stuff utilizing the Spinner & Double hook shots

They hit with something like that instead of a ho-hum update for Breath of the Wild it would be hype. Throw in shoe in games like:

Metroid Prime 4
Mario Kart 9
New 3D Mario
New IP Launch
Pokémon Z-A

Plus whatever else they have cooking it's a solid start for year 1. Would be nice if Next Level Games was making a New Punch Out, and we have some other variety sprinkled in.
