IGNPS2's Big E3 Coverage -- A Different Exclusive Every Day Starting Friday

http://boards.ign.com/PS2_General_Board/b5023/85709375/?25

Everyone is looking forward to E3 this year, even those of us that hate it, and to gear up for the big event, we're kicking off the road to E3 with a different exclusive preview/feature/announcement every day of the week, every week, starting this Friday.

Some of these games you've seen before, some of them you haven't, but regardless, we'll have stuff you haven't see or heard until now all the way through.

Some days we'll even have two or three games profiled. We'll even be launching a certain channel that many of you have been waiting for somewhere along the way *ahem*

See you Friday

That sounds like at least a good 15-20 games. And it starts Friday.

that wasn't entirely untrue.

also: IGN Insider, worth it for E3?

I barely used mine last year versus Gamespot. But this year, with the amount of media floating around, one could get a leg over the the other in terms of better quality for certain key vids. You'll want the best possible quality for the upcoming screenshot/video wars! :p ;)

If it had to be one or the other, though, I'd get GS based on last year.

is gamespot ever going to fix its fucking site so it'll display properly in firefox?

Last year it was pretty close, in 2003 GS owned IGN so hard its not even funny. But yah GS is likely your best choice if you can only go for 1 that month.

depends on what you want... they don't get quite as much media as gamespot, but IMO if you want to download and save files, it' easier to find stuff and the servers are usually more reliable... they have longer more detailed write-ups, and generate a lot more text on more games than gamespot, but most of that stuff is free anyway... They usually don't have streaming conferences or anything... The site editors (in particular matt) occasionally spill insider stuff on the message boards leading up to the show so that can be pretty cool

IMO i like it better than gamespot because it's easier to navigate the site and i don't like to stream my videos but i'll have gamespot too for streaming conferences (assuming G4 doesn't put them on tv this year, which i hope they do)

I'd say go for Insider.

It's just easier to work/navigate with it.

Also, remember--the guys at gamespot..."for the love of the game." >_>

Anyone else expecting a ton of EA game announcements to come from the exclusives? Seems kind of lame that IGN makes news announcing that they'll have news ... but whatever.

Yeah, you'll probably see stuff like Burnout, Marvel, and Bond.

Doubt it'll be anything we haven't heard of before. With everything getting close to E3 we'll probably see X-Men Legends 2, probably RE4, etc.

The big name games that people haven't heard about are obviously being held for E3. All the stuff being hyped right now is probably games we've known about, just now we're going to see them.
