I'm Going to Get an N-GAGE!

I know it sounds bad, but with the provider I should be getting I can recieve the phone free. I hate flip phones and the only other free candybar style phone is the Nokia 3220 which I "may" still get. But I was wondering a few things before I get the N-Gage QD.

1. Does anyone here even own an N-Gage?

2. If so are there actually any good games for the system? I noticed they are all $6.99 at EBgames and X-Men Legends is one of them.

3. Is there any type of emulation available on the unit for NES or other simple games?

4. I have NEVER seen someone talking on the QD, I remember the stupid style of the first one. I'm still intrested on how you hold this one.

5. Is there a cable to upload ringtones and games or is there a different OS on this one?

All the negatives aside from the N-Gage, I again dislike flip style cell-phones a great deal. Another benefit on the QD is having a D-pad to scroll around and not a half-assed directional unit like on most cell phones.

Worms is good, as with Pathway to Glory (which is a must for Ngage owners imo). Rifts is supposed to be good and the newly announced Warhammer game looks pretty decent as well. The QD sounds really good as a phone, when I had one provided by Nokia I enjoyed using it.

Well, myself I don´t use my QD as console because the screen is too small (that may change with Warhammer 40.000, but well).

QD it´s quite comfortable, it´s a bit bulky compared with other mobiles out there, but is comfortable enough, very clear and good designed.

The way you hold it is quite normal, at the side of the screen (opposed to the side talking). It looks nice but it has the problem that screen gets dirty easily.

I haven´t used a cable, but I think you can use with windows without problems.

I have the first model which is loaned from Nokia (for review purposes).

I prefer that one, you can listen to the radio while waiting for a phone call plus you can use custom cards for emulation which you can't on the QD (unless I'm wrong)

Rifts is lots of fun, but the controls are simply horrible in the latest beta. Still a trill for any RPG fan.

Pathway to Glory is brilliant, I've had lots of fun with Xanadu Next and Worms is pretty good, albeit a little challenging because of the odd screen. Colin McRae and Splinter Cell are great picks too, I greatly enjoyed both of them.
