I passed out on the couch for awhile and when I awoke my roommate was telling how she needed to get ready to to get a UHaul to Albuquerque.

I had a short conversation and went back to sleep.

Then I woke up again, and my friend Chris is standing there mentioning he's going home. It took me a few seconds but then I realized this IS HIS HOME!

Then I fell asleep for a nap again and once again Chris appeared and struck up a longer conversation with me.

If I recall, OP is on Ambien right? I don't know enough about it's effects, nor your mental state to make any suggestions other than that you should probably go see a psychiatrist or another related medical professional.

Sounds like you're extremely stressed out or having sleeping issues. Try relaxing and avoiding naps and instead focusing on sleep hygiene. Oh and also don't take drugs.
